ABOUT THE COACH
As a coach, it's important to be adaptable, based on the requirement of each company, director, performer and script. My coaching style is inclusive and open minded; incorporating many training methodologies from my time working as a child actor and, then later, training in Sydney, London & New York.
There is always a goal for a delicate balance of work and play; the importance of thorough research and deep resonance with the material & an enjoyment in delivery of connecting to other humans with the heart.
I currently am on staff at NIDA, Conservatorium of Music & Sydney Actors School and frequently work as a coach for actors on set, in pre-production, and ADR phases for local and international productions.
As a performer, I have worked across stage, screen, sound and dance. I have performed in many plays including; One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest directed by Kim Hardwick (SFJ), Five Women Wearing the Same Dress (Darlinghurst Theatre), Henry V (dir: Antoinette Blaxland), The Lady's Tragedy (dir: John Baxter), Chambres (BSharp, dir: Laurie Foell), I May Fly (Syd, NYC, London).
My screen credits include roles in Not Russian Anywhere, F Ward, BUMP, Doctor Doctor, Home & Away A Country Practice, Land of Hope, DUST, Distance to Now, Evicted, The Drover's Wife, The Pool.
As a VO artist, I've worked extensively in radio & TV commercials on well known National Campaigns (incl. Bring up Respect), ADR, corporate narration & character voicing in fiction podcasts/radio plays. I have recorded 24 audiobooks (fiction & non-fiction) and in addition have completed over 35 long form education recordings for Cambridge, OUP, Pearson, Macmillan and more.
My best known narration is "You Need to Know" by Nicola Moriarty which made the Best Lists of 2021:
2021 Best Audiobook for Apple Books
2021 Best Audiobook for Booktopia
2021 Top 20 Audiobooks for Kobo Books
