ABOUT THE COACH
In my coaching, I aim to achieve a delicate balance for each actor; a balance of work and play; the importance of research and deep resonance with the material & an enjoyment in delivery of connecting to other humans.
As a coach, it's important to be adaptable, based on the requirement of each director, performer and production company. As a result, my coaching style is inclusive and open minded; incorporating many training methodologies from my time working as a child actor and, then later, training in Sydney, London & New York.
On stage, I have performed in a wide range of genres from Shakespeare to Mamet to Handke.
On screen, I have played guest roles on television, played supporting roles in award winning feature films, and filmed a range of TV commercials. I have given birth to four babies on screen but have just one child of my own. I've played a woman recovering from a stroke, a silly carefree single mother and am often cast in period pieces.
As a VO artist, I've worked extensively in radio & TV commercials, corporate narration & audiobooks.
In recent years, I’ve worked as voice & dialect coach for Tiger Aspect (London), Disney+, Ambience Entertainment, Warner Bros and have worked as an acting coach for Fremantle Media, ABC TV & Blackfella Films.
